A day of rest.

The winds have abated. It looks like today would be a good day to swim in the Ocean. I spent yesterday waiting while new tires were put on the Riviera and the shop went over it checking for trouble. It was a busy day for them and I had to wait for most of the day. However, I did fit in a few errands and needed the day to recoup from the day of hard sailing. After sailing on New Years Day, I found a group of men rigging up at the opposite beach. Here is a photo of them. Notice the elderly gentleman bent over the longboard. He was the senior member of the group. I never saw either of these guys sailing, though.
